there’s no bootrom exploit discovered yet on those newer devices. this uses usbliter8 that was discovered for iphone xs/11, kinda similar to checkm8 for iphone 4s~x

the reason asahi linux is possible is because apple allows loading arbitrary kernel images on macs. they don’t for ios devices.
