I don’t think they can help but institify into a smaller version of Google at this point, and I don’t want anyone vendor to own my entire Tech stack. Never again.

I pay to use Sygic for turn by turn driving directions and it’s been worth it. Can even pay through their website and bypass paying through Google Play, which I feel is a big blind spot for a lot of these services.

Also it’s a euro based company, so data sovereignty is possible.
