As someone in a different professional environment I will tell you that Hunter will get fired and you will be served by geriatric gen x and then millenials until we figure out how to keep people from being so incredibly stupid that they can’t perform basic tasks, much less practice medicine or law or engineering

You didn’t explain to me where the file is, you explained how to share one file. Some people like to do this thing with files called ORGANIZE them. Like how back in the day there used to be paper files, in paper folders, in a metal cabinet. That way you can easily find a specific file AND you can transfer the folder with all the organization intact or transfer a whole cabinet, even to a non-apple machine. I want my file system to be brand agnostic. I don’t want to have to learn a new UI every 5 years to figure out how to organize things. I don’t want to boot up my circa 2005 macbook pro (assuming it still works) and not have any idea how to find all my old media. Directories were invented in 1983 and work just fine, always have, always will.

See there’s your problem, you need to squeeze the yellow testicle two times then spit on the baby chicken and yell “Hooty Hoo” and the files are right there. It will all make sense once you get used to it.

IOS is soon to recognize that data can be stored in these things called “files” that are located in what’s called a “folder” and maybe the user can even decide where on this thing called a “hard drive” these “files” and “folders” are located instead of typing into a random search bar.
