Meta is accused of using photos from Facebook and Instagram to extract biometric information for an facial recognition system intended for its smart glasses.

🧑‍⚖️ Love how they are going after Meta in “Alvarez v. Meta” for their use of Instagram user biometrics to train #AI (EMU) plus their Smart Glasses and MetaAI facial recognition software (NAMETAG) 🥸 This could turn into a major win for everyone’s privacy❣️
