Ive wanted to try custom phone os’s but im not sure where to start, my phones are not supported from the few ive gathered over time also most of them are “trash” as some may say. So im wondering what phone to get and where from, also what mobile os do your prefer over other ones?
does this vary on multiple factors?
I don’t know if you’re looking for a phone that just doesn’t go under the Google name and can run alrernate OS’s, or if you’re looking for a phone that’s completely separate from Google, but Motorola and GrapheneOS are discussing plans to make it so GrapheneOS is compatible with Motorola phone, and it’s estimated that something will come of it by next year. Other than that, at least one other person mentioned it, but your best bet is sadly a Pixel phone. For now, that is.
